Day 111-116: 21-26 April 2015

Hello Everyone!

I am so sorry about not posting over the last week, I have been so busy with school and then I went out of town with my mom over the weekend to Washington DC. It has been a hectic week, I have had presentations and project and papers due. I have been rushing to get everything done in time so that I can start studying for my finals that begin on Saturday. Luckily most of my work is done for now and I can focus on studying but I still have 2 papers to worry about. This past weekend was a lot of fun, I got the chance to get out of town for at least 24 hours and go see some parts of DC that I haven’t seen and some old favorites. So because the beginning of my week was boring and revolved around school, I’m going to tell you all about my 24 hours in DC!

So I came home on Thursday night because we would be leaving for DC when I normally would have class. So that morning I woke up and got myself together and finished packing all of the essentials for the trip. Then once that was done I made some lunch and waited for my mom to get home from her eye doctor appointment, while I was waiting the lady we were riding with showed up with her daughter. We talked for a few minutes while we waited for my mom to show up and when she did we loaded all of our belongings into the car and made our way towards DC. I had to sit in the back with her daughter which was awful because I get car sick when I’m stuck in the back seat so I pumped myself full of drugs to help me get through the 3.5 hour car ride. The drive wasn’t too bad but once we got close to DC we hit some traffic and that didn’t help with my motion sickness. Luckily after driving through rush hour in DC on a Friday we made it to our hotel and we checked in. We only had time to drop off our belongings and use the bathroom before we had to meet everyone in the lobby to begin our festivities. Once we met up with our group of 13 people we all set off for the monuments. It was about 7pm and we walked all the mile from our hotel to the White House. When we got there we took some pictures and looked around before making our way to the Washington Monument, after that we walked to the WWII monument which is my absolute favorite monument. I could sit and look at it for hours and not get bored, I took plenty of pictures and I walked all the way around it just listening to the fountains and enjoying the calm feeling I had there. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay there and we had to keep moving on, and we ended up at the Korean War memorial. My grandfather fought in that war so my mom and I paid our respects and walked through the memorial and it is a beautiful as well. All the monuments in DC are beautiful and they just make you feel calm. After that one we went to the Lincoln monument and he is my favorite president so I always enjoy looking up at the giant statue of him and think of what it would’ve been like to know him. After we finished there we all decided to go eat some dinner at 9:00 at night… and instead of walking we were going to take taxis. But with 13 people it’s hard to find enough taxis to fit us all, so we split up into two taxis there was 4 people in a small cab and 9 people in a van which is illegal since there are only 7 seats but we made it work and we only went a short distance. At dinner, all those old enough ordered alcoholic beverages because it had been a long day, and our food took a while to get to us so we didn’t eat until close to 10. The salmon I ordered was awful, it was overcooked and the potatoes weren’t that great and they didn’t even give me the vegetables I ordered. It was a nightmare and I just wanted to go to bed. So after dinner we took a cab and went back to the hotel where I got ready for bed as fast as possible and I was asleep within minutes of my head hitting the pillow.

The next day we ate breakfast at the hotel before walking to the closest Starbucks for some good coffee, after that we walked to the National History Museum and spent 4 hours in there exploring all of the exhibits and different rooms they had there. I’m a huge history nerd so I was loving all of the exhibits, in one of the exhibits was the Hall of Mammals and they had a sloth. Sloths are my favorite animal so I had to see if they had one in the gift shop that I could buy because I have never been able to find a stuffed animal sloth before and they did! I was so excited that I bought it right away and I named him Simon. He is so cute a fluffy, he makes me so happy. Then after spending so much time there and eating lunch in their fancy café we went next door to the American History museum where they have everything from the first lady’s inaugural dresses to the red slippers from the Wizard of Oz and the first American flag from the 1800’s. It was awesome to look around that museum but at that point in the day my feet and my back were killing me and I was ready to get going. We had spent over 3 hours in that museum along with the 4 hours at the other and I had woken up around 6:30, so I was exhausted. Luckily at that point we all were tired and we got taxis back to the hotel and we all got in our cars and made our way out of DC. We stopped in Richmond for dinner a few hours later and my food there was fantastic and made up for the crappy dinner I had the previous day. After dinner we only had an hour left before we would make it home, so we powered through the rain and we got home around 11:00pm. I was exhausted and I grabbed all of the stuff and went to my room as fast as my tired legs could take me and I threw my stuff on the floor and kicked my shoes off before getting dressed for bed. The minute I laid down in my bed I was gone!

Then today I didn’t do much, other than drive back to school like I usually do! This week coming up is another hectic week so I probably won’t blog much until I am done with school on the 6th of May so just hang in there with me y’all! Y’all are the best and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Day 109 and 110: 19 and 20 April 2015

Hello Wonderful People,

So the countdown to the end of the semester is going strong, and I am up to ears in homework to do. I barely have any time to sleep anymore, so I am exhausted. I am currently taking a break from all of my work to type this post for y’all. I’m not going to talk for too long because I do have a lot of work that needs to get done….

Sunday was a boring day, I did what I usually do every Sunday. I woke up, got myself together, packed my bag to go back to school, and then I watched TV with my mom most of the day until it was time to start dinner. We had to run to the store because the meat we had was questionable and I refused to eat it. While we were at the store I grabbed a zucchini to grill up as well. When we got back to the house it started to rain and we rushed to get the cheeseburgers cooking before it started pouring outside. We managed it thankfully and we ate a delicious dinner of cheeseburgers and grilled zucchinis and onions. It was so good, and I really want more right now. Then after dinner I ate some butter pecan ice cream before making my way back to school. The drive back was gross because it was raining and I had to carry my stuff to my room in the rain, but it was okay. I then unpacked my bag and got all cozy on my bed to watch my favorite Sunday night TV shows Once Upon A Time, Secrets and Lies, and The Royals. By the time all of my shows were done I was in a sad mood and I ended up crying for no apparent reasons. I was so confused and Sarah wouldn’t let me out of her site until I stopped crying. Eventually the crying did stop and I ended up watching an old cartoon from my childhood that is on Netflix before I fell asleep.

On Monday, I didn’t have classes because of a research conference that was going on, so I spent my day doing homework and organizing my to-do list. I also spent my morning packing up certain things in my room that I plan on taking home with me this weekend. I only have 14 more days until I am done with school for the summer and I  knew that if I didn’t start packing when I did I was going to regret it when it was time for me to move out. Then after I did some homework it was time for me to go to work at 4, and while at work I played games on my phone before my friend Courtney showed up and then I filled her in on all the new things in my life. She always gives the best advice and she is hilarious about it too. We had a great time before I made my way back to my apartment after I was done with work to do more homework. I worked tirelessly to get it all done so I could go to sleep as soon as possible. I ended up getting everything dome by 10:30 so I was able to finish watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Sarah before we both went to bed. MY stomach was not very happy with me when I finally got in my bed so it took me a long time to finally get to sleep, but once I was asleep I didn’t wake up for anything. The reason I know this is because last night there was an awful thunderstorm that woke everyone up except me… but I’m glad I missed that one!

I will try and do better about posting but with how hectic everything is right now I don’t know how often I will be able to blog. Just bear with me over the next two weeks!

Day 107 and 108: 17 and 18 April 2015

Why Hey There Everyone,

I apologize for this post being a little late but if you have read my previous ones you know that I have been working all week on a big paper and I’ve been so tired that I haven’t had the chance to blog everyday like I would like too. So without further ado, let me tell you about my Friday and Saturday!

So Friday I had to give a persuasive speech to my public speaking class and the topic I chose was persuading them to join a Greek organization, since I have been in a sorority for 4 years it wasn’t difficult to talk about. My speech went well and overall I was very happy with it, and then after my speech I came back to my apartment and I packed my bag for the weekend. Then I went to lunch and I went to class before I made my way home for the weekend. I was alone at my house because my family had gone to Richmond to see my sister get inducted into an honor society and I opted out of going because I knew I wouldn’t be home in time to go. Not that I wanted to go anyway because I’m still really mad at my sister for being rude to me at my induction. Then I proceeded to fall asleep on my couch for 3 hours and woke back up around 7:30. Then I made myself some pizza and watched The Fault in Our Stars before the entire family got home including my sister. I didn’t speak to her because I wanted her to know how it felt to be treated the way she treated me. After a few hours of them being there I managed to make my sister upset and she practically ran out of my house with her husband and daughter. After that I finished watching the movie I was watching and went to bed.

The next day I went to Zumba with my mom and my sister was there and didn’t speak to me, not that I cared. The class itself was intense and I was sweating bullets but I felt great afterwards. Then as we were grabbing our stuff to leave my mom tried to get my sister and I to talk and I said I didn’t want to talk about it in public because I didn’t feel it was appropriate to talk about our issues in front of a bunch of strangers. That wasn’t good enough for my mom so she told my sister why I was upset and before my mom could finish speaking my sister ran out of the room to her car and raced to her house. My mom followed her because she had some stuff for her daughter in the backseat that my sister had left at our house. Then at my sister’s house she screamed and yelled at my mom before she kicked her out of the house. So my mom proceeded to cry on the way home from Zumba and I was too upset to say anything so as soon as we got home I went and took a shower. The shower helped calm me down and by the time I was done getting ready for the day I was feeling much better. After my mom got a shower she took my shopping to get an outfit for my interview and she ended up getting me a 2 blouses, a pair of pants, a skirt, a blazer, a pair of shoes, and a dress. It was quite a successful shopping day. Then we went to chick-fil-a for lunch before going to Walmart to go grocery shopping. After that we made dinner and I popped open a bottle of wine and we made BBQ chicken and roasted potatoes. Then later that evening we watched Saving Mr. Banks before going to bed.

Overall it was an interesting few days and I am glad they are over!

Day 105 and 106: 15 and 16 April 2015

Hello All,

So I know I’m a little late on posting this but it was a hectic and exhausting week! I’m going to keep this post short and sweet because I have a few others to catch up on because I’m so behind!

I spent most of Wednesday working on my 8 page paper that I had to write by Thursday night and by the time Supernatural came on I was exhausted and ready for bed. Once the show was over there was no way I was going to be able to concentrate on my paper so I gave up my efforts and shut my laptop for the night and laid on the couch for another hour before I finally made myself get back up and go to bed… it was struggle let me tell you. As I was lying in bed I remembered that I had a health test the next morning and I hadn’t even looked at the chapter in the book. So I ended up staying awake until 1:30 in the morning studying. It was awful, I was asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.

The next day I made my way to my health class and took my test in 20 minutes like I do with all of my tests. Then I went to my next class early so I could go to the computer lab and work on my paper a bit before class. I ended up getting distracted and didn’t get much work done. Then I went to my class where people were giving presentations so I didn’t pay much attention. Then once that class let out I went back to the lab because my 11:00 class was cancelled and I really did work on my paper this time. While I was talking to one of my classmates about our paper my phone rang and when I answered it, it was the lady from the internship I applied for and she scheduled me an interview for Tuesday at 10:30 am. I got so excited and as soon as I was off the phone with her I called my mom to tell her the good news and she was so excited she screamed in my ear. We talked for a few minutes before I got back to working on my paper. Then I went to lunch with Sarah before making my way to work, and while I was at work I typed half of my paper. Then when I got back to my apartment I finished my paper by 6:00 and I had Sarah read it before I submitted it online. It ended up being 10 pages including my cover page and reference page. Then after my paper was done I had a speech to write for my public speaking class. I did that fairly quickly and once it was written I made the PowerPoint presentation to go with it. Then I took two online quizzes and I was all done with my work by 10:30 and then around 11 I got a phone call from the guy I like and we ended up talking until 2 in the morning, he ended up falling asleep on me like always. Then after that I went to bed as well and I was so tired that I was out like a light!

Day 103 and 104: 13 and 14 April 2015

Hey there everyone!

So this week is going to be one of the most stressful weeks of my life, I barely have time to type this post! I have so many assignments to do between today and the 30th of this month. I have 4 presentations, 3 major papers, 2 group presentations, a speech, and several tests. I literally don’t know what I’m going to do. In this week alone I have a paper due Thursday night, a test Thursday morning, a speech due Friday, and a presentation on Friday as well. I hate the end of the semester it is always so stressful because the professors always try to fit so many things in to the schedule in such a short amount of time. It’s not fair for us students to have to deal with all of this at once! So don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from me much this week, because I will probably be pulling my hair out trying to get all of my work done!

The past two days however have been fairly easy because all of the assignments were assigned on those days, so I had only a small amount of time before all the due dates began approaching. Yesterday was a normal Monday, I went to class and did my homework that was due and I went cross eyed form staring at my computer screen too long and then I fell asleep on the phone with the guy I like. He always falls asleep on me when we are on the phone so it was nice that I finally got to repay the favor! Then today I woke up feeling awful and my stomach kept turning and I didn’t make it to class because I could move without having to vomit. I blame all of the stress that my professors have put me under! So today I have rested and planned out the rest of semester so I know when things are due and when the best times to do them are. So hopefully I will make it through the rest of the semester without jumping off of a building!

Wish me luck! I hope y’all have a wonderful week and that it isn’t too stressful for you!

Day One Hundred and One and One Hundred and Two: 11 and 12 April 2015

Why Hello There Everyone!

I’m not really sure what to blog about today because nothing has really happened over the last two days that hasn’t already happened before except one thing that I am so excited about!

So over the last few months my ex and I have become quite good friends again, and I have really enjoyed having him back in my life. So the other day we were talking on the phone and he fell asleep on me like he usually does and then the next night we were talking on the phone again and he had to stop our conversation short for another reason. So he texted me later on and told me he wanted to make it up to me and I had no idea how he could but then he thought that it would be a great idea for him to take me on a date to see Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. I’m a huge Marvel fan and as soon as he said that I accepted! So later on in the month of May he and I will be meeting halfway in South Carolina to hang out for a weekend and go see the movie and do some other things. We are going to a city neither of us has been to before so it will be a new adventure for us and I can’t wait. We are going to share a hotel room because it will be cheaper for us since I’m in college and I don’t have a lot of money. I have already looked up prices for the hotel and how long of a drive it will be for each of us and it’s about 6 hours for both us to get there. All he has to do is take off work and we will book a hotel and make all the arrangements, I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am to see him or the movie. I haven’t seen him since December and I know that I will probably tackle him into a hug when I see him and he will probably do the same to me.

Honestly I wish the trip was tomorrow because I could really use a break from everything and I really want to see him and talk to him face to face. The next few weeks are going to be unbearably busy because I have so many things to do before the end of the semester and I know that adding the excitement of this trip is only going to make the next few weeks go by even faster! Please keep your fingers crossed that I get everything done in time and that I pass all of my exams! I’m gonna need all the help I can get! Hope you all have a good Monday and I will talk to y’all soon!

Thanks so much for reading xoxo Lashleigh

Ninety Eight and Ninety Nine: 8 and 9 April 2015

Hey There Everyone,

I hope that the week has been treating y’all well! I’m just so thankful that it’s almost over, and I get to go home as usual.

Wednesday was a normal day and I didn’t really do much until after work, when I took Sarah grocery shopping. She was finally going to cook me dinner and we needed to gather some supplies! We went to Food Lion and while I was there I was finally able to find my favorite wine! I freaked out and I just had to buy it. I got a few other things and Sarah got all the ingredients she needed to make her chicken dish. Then once we got back to our apartment we put all the food away and Sarah and I worked on some homework before she went to a meeting. Once she was gone I finished my homework and watched some Disney movies. The first one I watched was Beauty and the Beast, and while I was watching that movie a huge thunderstorm came rolling through. I’m extremely afraid of thunderstorms and I was all by myself in the apartment… I was so scared and then the lights started to flicker, it was awful. It went on for a few hours before my roommates got back, and by then I was already starting another movie. I watched Anastasia, which was one of my all-time favorite movies as a kid. Once that movie was over I went to my room to do some homework that I had completely forgotten about and I ended up staying up until 1:30 because I did the assignment and I helped Sarah make a marinade for the dish she was making. So I was really tired when I woke up this morning.

This brings me to today, which hasn’t been all that exciting either but it was still a pretty good day. I woke up late this morning because I was so tired so I didn’t have time to curl my hair so I straightened it. I did my makeup and made my coffee like usual and then I went to all of my classes and nothing too exciting happened. Then while I was at work I played some card games with some of my guy friends, when one of them told me that I was like cocaine and right as I was about to get offended he told me I was like cocaine because it’s pure, sweet, powerful, and addictive just like me. He and I haven’t been friends that long so it was a little strange for him to be saying that to me but I took the compliment nonetheless. Then after work I headed straight to my room and took a 2.5 hour nap, it was much needed because the last 10 minutes of work I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I had wonderful dreams while I was napping and I was sad when I woke up to find they weren’t true. I laid in my bed an extra 45 minutes after I woke up because I was so comfortable and I wasn’t ready to get up, so I played on my phone until my stomach told me it was hungry and I needed to get up and get some food. Once I rejoined my roommates Sarah and I started to make dinner and put on a movie. We decided to watch White Chicks while we cooked an Asian inspired chicken and rice dish. It was absolutely delicious and I was disappointed I got full because I wanted to eat more of it. Then after we ate we continued watching our movie and when that one was over we watched Bridesmaids which is one of our favorites. In the middle of that movie I got a phone call from a very special person to me so I excused myself and laid on my bed talking to him and he is currently still on the phone but he is sleeping because I can hear him snoring and its adorable. He always falls asleep on me so this is normal and I usually stay on the line for a few more minutes in case he wakes back up. I don’t think he is going to though and I might have to hang up on him; which I hate doing. But I’m going to get ready for bed now and I will talk to all of you later! I hope you have an awesome Friday!

Day Ninety Six and Ninety Seven: 6 and 7 April 2015

Well Hey There People of the Internet!

I hope you have had an awesome start to your week! Mine has been full of projects and presentations!

Monday I didn’t do much other than work tirelessly on a huge presentation I had due the next day! It took me hours to make the presentation, get my notes together and figure out what activity I was going to do with the class that related to my presentation. During that time I also had a test I needed to study for. Luckily I got it all done and I was able to rest easy Monday night knowing that all of my work was getting done on time and I was happy with how my presentation was turning out. However I couldn’t sleep last night for some reason and I ended up tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable enough to sleep.

Needless to say when I woke up this morning I was exhausted and I knew right off the bat that I was going to need a lot of caffeine and a nap to make it through the day. I had my presentation today so I spent a little extra time getting myself ready this morning. I even wore red lipstick since my outfit was so monochrome. I dressed up in business attire and wore heels around campus all day. My first class of the day had a test, and thankfully I was able to do a little last minute studying and I feel like I did really well on it. Then after that my next class had a guest speaker so I didn’t have to do much in that class. Then after that it was time for my presentation. Thankfully I didn’t have to go first and I was the last one to present and I did really well. I had too much to talk about so in the end I had to skim my last slide to make it in the time allotted to me. But m professor seemed to really enjoy my presentation and she gave me a 20 out of 20 on it! After that I was relieved that it was over and I could finally relax for the rest of the day. I went to work after lunch and played card games with my friends before making my way back to my room and taking a nice long nap. I got woken up from my nap by my roommate who reminded me I had homework to do. I begrudgingly got up and took the few online quizzes I had for my classes and I began revising a paper that I had to turn in tonight. I made one of my roommates read over it for me to make sure that I didn’t miss any mistakes. Then I made myself some dinner and proceeded to watch TV with Sarah until about midnight when we decided it was bed time!

So now I am getting myself ready to go to sleep so I can face another day tomorrow, I hope you all get some great sleep and I will see you soon!

Day Ninety Four and Ninety Five: 4 and 5 April 2015

Hello there wonderful people!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday! Sorry for the late post it’s been a very hectic week so far and I haven’t had much time to do anything. Without delaying any further let me get started!

The day before Easter I spent the entire Saturday with my mom running a million errands around town! We first went to Noodles and Company for lunch and it was absolutely delicious I got Pad Thai which is Asian rice noodles, vegetables, peanut sauce, and sautéed shrimp! My mom got Japanese Pan Noodles which looked like giant earthworms on her plate but it tasted really good. After lunch we went to Sam’s club to pick up a few things we needed for Easter Dinner. After walking around Sam’s Club for what felt like hours we went back to the house to put the cold stuff away and then we went to JC Penny’s so that my mom could get a few 15 minute contour make over from Sephora. While we were there I spent some time looking around at all the products and explaining to my mom the different products that I was interested in and she ended up buying me a contour palette by Kat Von D as my Easter Gift. After that we went to Walmart to get a few more things for Easter Dinner and I picked up some hair dye because my roots had started coming in and I wanted my hair all nice and pretty for church the next day. So after dinner my mom helped me dye my hair a gorgeous vanilla blonde color from Schwarzkopf. After blow drying my hair and making sure it was perfect I went to bed.

The next morning I woke up early and curled my hair like I usually do and I did my makeup and I ended up doing my mom’s makeup as well using my new contour palette she had purchased me. Then we went to church where we watched all the little ones hunt for Easter eggs out on the playground and they all looked so adorable in their little outfits. Then during church service I decided to help out in the nursery because it was crowded in there and all the kids were hopped up on sugar from all the candy they had been eating. While I was in there one of the little boys decided to attach himself to my hip and we sat and talked the entire time and he told me all about the presents he got for Easter and what his little brother got and that now that he was 5 years old he was a big boy and got big boy toys. It was absolutely adorable and I ended up getting a picture with him because he was just too cute. Then once church was over mom and I went home to start working on Easter dinner. After she put the ham in the oven she took the dog for a walk and I decided to take a nice little nap on the couch. I didn’t wake up until 4pm when everyone had already arrived for dinner. I got woken up and poured myself a glass of wine and ate a lovely dinner with my family. Then after dinner I packed my bag and headed back to school. When I got back I spent some time with my friends and we went out for margaritas. Overall it was a really good night.

Day Ninety Two and Ninety Three: 2 and 3 April 2015

Hey there wonderful people,

The last two days have been the easiest of my week. I can finally relax after such a hectic beginning to my week.

On Thursday, I went to my classes as usual and I went to work. While at work I hung out with one of my roommates and we played board games with a friend of hers who I never really got a long with. I am making more of an effort to not hate him. I must say that I genuinely enjoyed playing all of the games even though he was there. After we played a few rounds it was time for me to clock out of work and make my way home. The drive was peaceful as it usually is, and once I arrived in town I made my way to World Market where I picked up a few bottles of wine and a new coffee mug. Once I did that I made my way to my favorite nail salon to get my eyebrows done because they were looking rough. After that I made my way home where I spent the next hour or so dying Easter eggs with my niece. Then her, my father, and I ate burgers for dinner before they had to leave and go to her Girl Scout meeting. Once they left, I changed into my comfy clothes and plopped myself down onto my couch and proceeded to watch some TV before one of my favorite movies came on. At 9pm when Maleficent came on my mom and I sat down to watch it, but I didn’t last long and I ended up falling asleep on the couch. Once the movie was over my mom woke me up and told me to go to bed which I readily agreed to. I went upstairs and got snuggled up in my bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

When I woke up this morning I get myself ready and 10 minutes before 10am I made my way to the tattoo shop where I got my tattoo done in December. It has been looking dreadful recently and it needed to be touched up. I made it there 10 minutes after it opened and the guy who did my tattoo in December was there and he got set up quickly and before I knew it he was making my tattoo look as good as new. We had a great conversation we talked about the most random things but it made the process much more bearable instead of being silent for 40 minutes while he tattooed my collarbone. My tattoo looks so much better now than it did! Once he taped me up with a nice bandage I left to go get some lunch, I went to Panera to get a chicken caesar salad to go and I grabbed some Starbucks as well because I have a caffeine addiction. Then after getting my food, I made my way to Walmart to pick up a few things. I got some nail polish because now that its spring time I needed some brighter colors, I also picked up an eyeshadow palette from Maybelline. After leaving Walmart I came home and ate my lunch and watched a movie on Netflix before starting to watch season 3 of House of Cards. I am about to start doing some homework and continue watching House of Cards. Then later on tonight I hope to be done with the major assignment I will be working on before I go to bed. Wish me luck!

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday night!

Day Eighty Nine Ninety and Ninety One: 30 March through 1 April 2015

Hey there everyone,

It has been a really hectic week, which is why I haven’t had time to blog about it. Between projects, papers, and tests I have barely had any time to do anything else. I had a project due on Tuesday, a test on Wednesday, and several assignments due on Thursday.

Monday was a busy day because I spent the entire day working on the project that was due Tuesday because not only was there a project to do but I also had to do a 20 question assignment for the same class. Then on Tuesday I spent the entire day studying for the essay test I had to do on Wednesday. Wednesday I actually got to take a small break because I only had to do a 20 question assignment.
As we all know Wednesday was the first day in April as well as April Fool’s Day, I never much cared for April Fool’s Day because I feel like it gives people an excuse to act like idiots all day because that is normally what happens.  However, like I do at the beginning of every month I’m going to tell you all some of my favorite random holidays in April. The first of them being on April 4th which is National Hug a Newsman Day. There is National No Housework Day on the 7th, National Golfer’s Day on the 10th, National Stress Awareness Day on the 16th, National Blah Blah Blah Day on the 17th, my personal favorite National Take A Chance Day on the 23rd, and last but not least National Kiss Your Mate Day on the 28th. This month is full of great random holidays, if you want to check some of them out follow this link http://holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/april.htm to the website where I get all of my fun holidays.

So after my assignments were done on Wednesday I spent the rest if my day doing laundry and packing for the three day weekend. I haven’t done laundry in a couple of weeks and I was running out of socks, so while I was watching Supernatural I threw all of my clothes in the washer. Supernatural this week made me so happy because one of my favorite characters who died a few seasons back showed up. I was so excited I was smiling the entire episode! And Crowley, another one of the main characters finally got his life together and told his mom how he felt about her. Then after Supernatural, Sarah and I watched Gone in 60 Seconds, which is one of her favorite movies and I had never seen it before. The movie was great and I really enjoyed it! As the movie was finishing up I folded my laundry and packed a few of the things I just washed. I finished packing all of my belongings for the three day weekend. I will tell you all about Thursday and Friday in my next blog post!
